A compound from soil bacteria, corramycin, hits the same enzyme as fluoroquinolones, DNA gyrase, but binds differently, and worked against TB strains already resistant to them. Lab work only: it isn't yet cheap to make or tested in the body, and an earlier attempt stalled on cost.
